Welcome to Mesquite, Nevada! Located in southern Nevada on the Arizona border, this desert town, home to 20,000 people, is known as the golf capital of the desert. Visitors travel from all over the country to play these championship-level desert courses. Mesquite is also home to beautiful canyon state parks, casinos, and resorts in Newark. Located near Las Vegas, NV (1hr 10min, 80 miles) and St. George, UT (40min, 40 miles), Mesquite is a great day trip or weekend escape to the desert canyons. No trip to Mesquite is complete without visiting the world-class golf courses. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy excellent courses, such as Wolf Creek Golf Club, Conestoga Golf Club, Falcon Ridge Golf Club, and CasaBlanca Golf Club.
The natural beauty of Nevada isn’t exclusive to these golf courses. Visitors should see Valley of Fire State Park, the oldest and largest state park in the state, home to sandstone, petroglyphs, and hiking trails.
